This is a tutorial of how I managed to come study in France without help from anyone, and here I am sharing this for all the students out there !
TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français)
Before starting any procedure to come to France, you should prepare for your TCF. It's a simple test to see wether you can understand or not the french language. Don't be scared let me tell you two things that people are most scared of :
- Speaking : Mainly because of some's accent.
- Writing : Well that's just hard in another language ( if you are not comfortable in it ).
Suprise : You do not have to speak , and the Writing isn't even included in the TCF's Grade .
So now that you know that the most hard things are not there. It becomes really easy, to practice I'll give you these sources:
- TV5 monde : They have a program where they do simulations of the TCF, some questions really do get repeated/or at least the structure.
- Youtube videos : Well, those helped a lot in my case, you just watch as much as you can because the structure is the same .
Last thing about TCF : It is valid for only 2 years. Mainly use it for applying to universities/schools here, if you want a permanent one you should take a look at DELF/DALF

Campus France
It is the National platform for applying to France, each country has it's own. For Morocco consult this link : Campus France Maroc There are two procedures in Campus France:
I'm Accepted (Je suis accepte)
This means you already have the final ( Only the final, they do not accept anything like acceptance of interview or temporary school certificate ). now you wanna know how do you get it ? Simple Answer : Google. Type your major and the city you wanna come to ( if you don't know the city just try every city ) make a list of schools you want to apply to. They mostly have a portal you can reach them directly if not just send them an Email or use Instagram to find their account.
I'm a candidate ( Je suis un candidat )
Very simple, this procedure is open as of today 16 October 2026, it will end as of 15 December 2026 , so you have time don't worry or rush. In this procedure you have the choice to choose 7 universities ( tip : don't mix majors, a lot of people don't get accepted just because they mix up majors, you studied economics all your life, you can't just switch to IT )
Interview
When you get accepted in a university, Campus calls you to verify all the paperwork you sent during the procedure so prepare all the originals with you ( Baccalaureat, Grades, Tcf ...). The main reason for this interview is not to catch you or corner you, they just wanna continue the 10 percent image of your profile, just see you face to face that's all. Try not to stress, be polite,...
The Interview is 15 minutes, usually ends in 10 minutes due to a lot of candidates.
Questions
You can find a lot of helping content concerning the Campus Interview, but here are the 3 questions I heard people got the most :
- Present yourself: Say your name, academic background, professional one if you have it.
- Academic Future: If your applying for a bachelor, speak about it and about the next master you aspire to do ( you usually won't know a 100 percent but just choose one and learn about it )
- Professional Future: Talk about after your academic path, jobs you wanna work, short-term , mid-term , long-term.
Visa
After you finish the interview, Campus is gonna give you the permission to apply for visa through TLS Contact. Don't worry you can do this by yourself ( I know people who paid 7000MAD/6000MAD for this step and they didn't get the visa ) . This step is crucial, you will probably be super tired after all this work but you really have to gather your energy for this one . Access TLS make an account , make an account in france visa and make a new form and fill the information ( don't submit it yet, you can submit it until before your visa rendez vous so don't rush)
This part I'm going to explain is just for Morocco, I have no idea about other countries Procedures + This part will be in French for facility purposes.
- TLS/Campus : Formulaire de demande visa + recepisse d enregistrement (France-Visa) + Quittance de paiement des frais Campus + Screenshot de l'autorisation de prise de rdv ( Platforme Campus)+ Confirmation du RDV Tls + Recu de paiement des frais TLS
- Identite : Copie de carte nationale, copie du passport ( 6 pages si plein , si non 2 premieres pages ), extrait d acte de naissance, 2 photos format schegen.
- Pedagogique: Diplome du Bac, Releves de note lycee + Bac seul, Diplome original ou certificat de Reussite- TCF - Lettre explicative si anne blance, redoublement - certificat de scholarite - CV - lettre de motivation .
- Hebergement : Reservation d hotel - lettre explicative d hebergement - screenshots entre hotel et universite ( pas + d'une heure ) - Screenshots des platformes studapart, crous..... + screen des conversations avec proprietaire pour but de location ( preuve que tu cherches un logement permanent)
- Ressources : Copie Carte nationale du garant, attestation de prise en charge legalisee, 3 derniers releves bancaire, attestation de blocage ( virement permanenet et irrevocable) . ( Si garant entrepreneure d entreprise, Certificat de propriete, Status de l entreprise, Bilan de l entreprise, impots de l entreprise ( a partir de la DGI direction general des impots ) Possibilite : Ajout des proprietes personnelle du garant
Most people get two things wrong, either they do a hotel too expensive or the letter is not precise so they seem like they are not looking for a place to stay permanently. second is the resources, some people do Self financing ( autofinancement ), this is only reserved to M1 and M2 ( Master 1 and Master 2 ) but strictly not for L1-L2-L3.
